SAP IT Finance Consultant

We're seeking a SAP IT Finance Consultant to join our rapidly growing team. Reporting to our Head of Business Applications, you will be responsible for delivering the IT solutions & integrations to support the Finance business processes.

This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity from out of our offices in Shalford, Guildford or Leamington Spa, Warwick. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.

What you'll do

1. Lead the implementation and enhancement of Finance SAP 4/HANA modules from an IT perspective.
2. Work closely with the Finance Systems Manager, Finance Business Process owners and Subject Matter experts to develop and optimise the end-to-end business processes.
3. Translate requirements into viable process solutions in SAP 4/HANA & other financial systems that are aligned with the business strategy and goals, solution principles and using standard functionality.
4. Analyse existing Finance processes and identify areas for improvement & optimisation.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless integration of the SAP 4/HANA solution with other business applications.
6. Develop and document business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows.
7. Support the Finance team with implementing the controls, roles and compliance across various Finance systems.
8. Configuration & setup of Finance processes in SAP 4/HANA.
9. Work with Business Change for Adoption on aspects such as Business Change impacts identification.
10. Provide comprehensive functional support and ownership of Finance IT Processes ensuring that all modules meet the evolving needs of the business.
11. Conduct unit testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
12. Manage the documentation, training materials, and user guides for all integrated systems, ensuring consistent and accurate information is available across teams.
13. Provide technical support and training to end-users to enhance their understanding and utilisation of SAP 4/HANA.

Who you are

1. Proven experience of SAP 4/HANA implementations, configuration & customisations.
2. In-depth knowledge of SAP modules such as FI (Financial Accounting), CO (Controlling), and MM (Materials Management). Following Certifications would be advantageous:

• S4FCF_2023 SAP Certified Associate - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition, Central Finance
• C_S4FTR_2023 SAP Certified Associate - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition, Treasury
• C_TS4CO_2023 SAP Certified Associate - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition, Management Accounting

Analytical skills to evaluate complex business problems and design effective solutions.

Deep understanding of the IT processes & Financial data to support the Finance function.

Able to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders and facilitate discussions between diverse teams.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for creating clear and comprehensive documentation and an ability to facilitate stakeholder workshops, present requirements and processes in a clear, logical manner.

Experience of working with a broad range of stakeholders across multiple locations.

Experience of using a broad range of business analysis practices to support change delivery.
