Project Manager - Internal Digital Transformation

Location: Brussels (Hybrid)

Contract Type: Open to both Freelance and Permanent

Languages: Fluent in French or Dutch + good working knowledge of English

We are supporting a large public sector organization in Brussels in the search for an experienced Project Manager to join their Business Solutions department, responsible for delivering internal IT tools that support digital performance and transformation.

You'll be part of the Build & Transform team, leading two key initiatives:

• The migration of SAP BSP/JSP/WebDynpro applications to UI5
• The deployment of OpenText as a digital personnel file management solution
  

Responsibilities

• Lead project initiation and define technical and functional scopes with relevant teams.
• Coordinate planning, architecture, budget, and execution timelines.
• Ensure project alignment with the broader IT landscape and transformation efforts.
• Oversee coordination with both internal departments and external vendors.
• Supervise implementation, testing, training, and change management phases.
• Ensure a smooth transition to operational teams (RUN).
• Prepare documentation for procurement and change requests when needed.
• Manage risk analysis, stakeholder communication, and project governance.
  

Ideal Profile

• Proven experience in managing complex IT projects within large organizations.
• Strong background in budget management, business requirements, and project delivery.
• Expertise with SAP tools and frameworks:
• SAP R3 (Expert)
• SAP S/4 (Intermediate)
• WebDynpro/BSP, UI5, FIORI (Advanced)
• SAP HR Time Management (Intermediate)
• Experience with OpenText implementation.
• Skilled in MS Project and traditional project planning tools.
• Analytical, structured, and comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
• Language: Fluent in French or Dutch, with professional proficiency in English.
