SAP S/4HANA developer needed - Contract - Outside IR35

We are seeking an experienced S/4HANA Developer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP S/4 HANA development, with a particular focus on REST APIs and integration within the S/4 HANA ecosystem.

You will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing solutions that leverage SAP technologies to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement solutions within the SAP S/4 HANA environment, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Work extensively with SAP S/4 HANA REST APIs to create and manage integrations with external systems.
• Develop custom objects and enhancements using SAP technologies such as ABAP, CDS views, OData services, and Fiori elements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including functional consultants, business analysts, and system architects, to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Optimize S/4 HANA solutions by troubleshooting and resolving performance and integration issues.
• Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and security standards when developing and deploying solutions.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance during system upgrades, migrations, and rollouts.
• Document technical specifications, development guidelines, and test scripts.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as an SAP S/4 HANA Developer.
• Expertise in SAP S/4 HANA REST APIs and integration techniques.
• Strong programming skills in ABAP, including CDS (Core Data Services) views, AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures), and BOPF (Business Object Processing Framework).
• Hands-on experience with OData and Fiori/UI5 development.
• Solid understanding of SAP S/4 HANA architecture and system landscape.
• Experience with SAP Gateway and building services for external integrations.
• Familiarity with modern development tools such as Eclipse/ADT and Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and SAP Cloud Integration.
• Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager and transport management processes.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Certification in SAP S/4 HANA or related technologies.
