SC Human Factors Integration Engineer

Role Title: Human Factors Integration Engineer
Duration: 6 month contract
Location: Hybrid, Portsmouth 4 days onsite, 1 day remote per week
Clearance required: Active Security Clearance is essential

Key Skills/requirements
5-7 years of experience in a similar role

• Worked within space/defence areas
• Experience producing of HSI plans in line with the some of the standards below
• Experience with the Space/Defence Project team one or both of the following -

• Experience with interfacing with the Space/Defence project Team within HFI stages 1 to 3
• Experience of working within the Space/Defence project Team within HFI stages 1 to 3

• Experience of Space/Defence FMI stages 4 to 6
• Experience with the Space/Defence HFI working Group (HFIWG)
• Experience with the production of HFI Case Reports
• Experience with the production of RAIDO
• Experience with HMI and HCI Style Guides
• Experience with HMI and HCI Design Specifications
• Provide integration with HSI/HFI standards:

• Knowledge of DEFSTAN-251
• Knowledge of JSP-912
• Knowledge of ISO-9241-210
• Some knowledge of DOD instruction 50000.2

• Interfacing with the Capability sponsor and Capability Acquirer
• Provide HFI/HSI integration with the System Engineering and HF Teams
• Analyse and define the Human System Integration Plan
• Define and provide HSI/HFI Domains as required by the customer eg:

• Provide projections
• Provide Personnel Data
• Provide Training
• Provide Human Factors Engineering
• Provide Human Safety
• Provide Human Health Hazards
• Provide Human Survivability
• Provide Human Habitability
• Provide Human Environment
