Security Service/Support Engineer

Location: South/West of the UK - London, Reading, Bristol, occasional travel to South Coast

Salary: Negotiable D.O.E up to £40k+

As a Security Service/Support Engineer, you'll be the face of our company, providing expert maintenance and support for a wide range of security systems, including CCTV, Intruder Alarms, and Access Control. We are looking for a motivated, customer-focused engineer who takes pride in delivering top-tier service while maintaining strong client relationships.

1. Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and remedial callouts for security systems
2. Carry out remedial and small works on Intruder, CCTV, Access Control, and AV systems (once trained)
3. Deliver excellent customer service and build strong client relationships
4. Provide on-site and telephone technical support
5. Adhere to health and safety requirements at all times
6. Participate in the on-call support rota
7. Complete and maintain accurate site visit paperwork with client sign-off
8. Assist with installations when required

Minimum 3 years' experience in a security engineering role
Full UK driving licence
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and paperwork skills
Self-motivated, forward-thinking, and eager to learn new technologies
Knowledge of NSI standards and policies
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full UK working rights (DBS & vetting will be required)

Experience working within an NSI/SSAIB-accredited company
Valid CSCS / ECS card
Certifications such as IPAF / PASMA / Asbestos Awareness
Strong IT networking skills
Knowledge of enterprise-level security systems
