Senior Analog IC Design Engineer

I am recruiting on behalf of a well-established research and development centre specialising in advanced communication systems. As part of their ongoing expansion in Europe, my client is seeking a Senior Analog IC Design Engineer to strengthen their team of experts.

In this role, the Senior Analog IC Design Engineer will be responsible for the end-to-end development of high-performance analog, mixed signal and RF blocks using advanced CMOS or SOI technologies. You will take ownership of the full design flow including architecture selection, circuit design, simulation, layout supervision, and hands-on silicon testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and simulate analog, RF or mm-wave integrated circuits
• Evaluate and optimise circuit architectures and parameters to meet performance goals
• Perform silicon validation and debugging using layout extraction and modelling techniques
• Contribute to the integration of analog and mixed signal IP into system-on-chip designs
• Work closely with layout, digital and system teams throughout the development process

Requirements:

• A PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Demonstrated experience in analog or RF CMOS IC design with measured silicon results
• Proficient with Cadence design tools such as Spectre and Virtuoso
• Familiarity with modelling and extraction methods to align simulation with silicon performance
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and team-focused
• Willing to relocate to the Leuven region

The position is based in Leuven, Belgium. Remote working may be possible during the onboarding phase.
