Senior Architectural Technician

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Architectural Technician to join an award-winning Architectural Practice based in Romsey. This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Architectural Technician to work for a market leader. The most suitable candidate must hold previous work experience of working for a house builder/developer either directly, or in a practice/consultancy. Our client primarily use Revit, however Senior Architectural Technician who are eager to learn the software are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Holding presentations
• Be an integral part of the team
• Work within a wider technical team
• Assist more junior members of the team
• Working on a mixture of residential and mixed use projects
• Preparing masterplans and producing drawings for submission
• Abiding by the building regulations at all times

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience (UK based) and experience working on residential projects
• Good knowledge of Revit or AutoCAD
• The ability to work independently
• Knowledge of M4 (CAT 2&3) & Nationally Described Space Standards favourable
• Live within a commutable distance of Romsey (taking into account our clients hybrid working)
• A team participant and a proficient communicator
• Full UK driving licence
• Sound technical knowledge and in-depth understanding of building regulations
• Desire to progress and attend CPD
