Senior Business Analyst - Salesforce

Application Deadline: 28 March 2025

Department: Technology & Product

Employment Type: Permanent

Location: London, UK

Description

We believe in the power of technology to drive business success. As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. Working closely with stakeholders across the company, you'll analyse current processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and design future-state solutions that support our strategic goals.

In this role, you'll be responsible for gathering and translating business requirements into clear, functional designs that guide our technical teams. As a Certified Salesforce Business Analyst, you'll leverage your expertise in Salesforce Sales, Service, and Marketing Cloud to ensure our technology solutions align with business needs. Your ability to communicate complex ideas in a way that resonates with both technical and non-technical audiences will be key to your success.

If you're a detail-oriented problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, this is the opportunity for you!

What that means day to day
  • Lead the gathering and analysis of business requirements, facilitating discovery workshops to develop process-optimised solutions, and use industry-standard business process models to create clear documentation, including functional designs, user stories, and requirement analysis models.
  • Support the development and testing of Salesforce solutions, building and demonstrating prototypes while applying standard testing methodologies to ensure quality and performance. Your role will also involve leading feature demos and UAT sessions, providing post-implementation support to drive adoption and successful change management. You'll act as a key point of contact for business users, troubleshooting issues, escalating concerns as needed, and providing first-level support for bug fixes and system inquiries.
  • Oversee data integrity and reporting by developing dashboards, maintaining best practices, and ensuring high-quality data management. You will also support data migration efforts, construct and validate SOQL queries, and establish processes that enhance data accuracy and accessibility for business users.

What you'll need to be successful

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a Salesforce Administrator certification, and will demonstrate the following capabilities:

  • Your ability to break down complex business information into structured components will help ensure feasibility and functionality, while your understanding of Salesforce capabilities will enable you to guide stakeholders effectively.
  • You will have hands-on experience of designing and documenting enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions.
  • Strong track record of working with business stakeholders to analyse requirements, develop functional specifications and troubleshoot system issues.
  • Proficiency with data migration tools including Salesforce Data Loader, Migration tool, and familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
