Senior Business Analyst - Key Requirements

Domain Expertise:

• Must have direct experience in the justice sector, especially in reclassification and victim support.

Core Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years in business/functional analysis for IT applications (non-logistics).
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking; able to independently draft business cases, user stories, and test scenarios.
• Skilled in Agile/Scrum and familiar with analysis frameworks and interrogation techniques.
• Experience organising workshops and gathering user input using structured methods.
• Proven ability to manage complexity and navigate chaotic environments with clear methodologies.

Communication & Cultural Fit:

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable handling conflicting inputs and aligning with team values.
• Can speak Dutch fluently
• 2x Days per week in Brussel

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead business case development, user story creation, and testing activities.
• Run workshops and support functional queries from users and product owners.
• Contribute to justice-related projects, including probation registration, risk assessment, and behavioural training data exchange.
