For one of our main clients based in Brussels - an European Institution, we are looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Expert with expertise in data visualization, development (Java/Python/R/JS), and SQL to join our team in the area of digital-ready policy-making. You will be responsible for guiding the digital-ready policymaking team's decisions on topics like the scope of the digital-ready support service or the evolution of the digital-ready policymaking community.

The position is hybrid based in Belgium where the office presence is need once/twice a week. If you're not based in the area, relocation to Belgium (or borders) will be required.

More specifically, you will be responsible for

• Collecting information on digital-ready policymaking activities and needs from internal and external sources.

• Digital-ready consultancy on new policy proposal / Building up the digital-ready policymaking consultancy service.

• Analysing such data and visualize the findings to inform the digital-ready policymaking team's decisions.

• Streamlining regulatory reporting - including its semantic aspect and potential for automation.

• Supporting the implementation of the Interoperable Europe Act proposal including work with Member States.

• Preparation of presentations, workshops, short reports on digital-ready policymaking.

• Assistance with the management of ongoing activities to promote digital-ready policymaking.

• Coordination and review of specific deliverables related to digital-ready policymaking.

• Involvement in any AI-powered digital-ready policymaking pilot project.

• Regular reporting to the project officer.

Are you the perfect match?

• University degree (BSc/MSc);

• Minimum 10 years of experience in ICT and data infrastructure.

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with several programming languages (Java, Python/R, JavaScript, HTML).

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience with Data Modelling and SQL;

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience with data visualization (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik), data handling (Talend Open Studio, Hadoop, FME), and data modelling (metadata management).

• Preferably, some experience in digital-ready policymaking and AI.
