Senior Claims Broker

Our client is looking for an experienced Financial Lines Senior Claims Broker to join their team based in London.

This is an exciting chance to lead Professional Indemnity, Directors & Officers, and Crime claims, working directly with Wholesale and Retail clients to achieve the best possible outcomes.

You will provide expert advice, liaise with insurers and legal representatives, and handle claims efficiently while encouraging positive relationships and supplying to key projects.

The role will involve;

1. Negotiate with markets to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
2. Prepare and present comprehensive claims documents to underwriters, addressing queries and providing feedback.
3. Maintain up-to-date records on company systems and ensure all claims processes meet compliance requirements.
4. Resolve client and insurer queries, ensuring all parties are kept updated throughout and support less expert team members with their development, as the need arises.
5. Keep clients, insurers, and collaborators advised of developments, liaising with third parties as vital.

To be considered for the role, you will need to have previous claims-handling experience dealing with either Professional Indemnity, Cyber or D & O Claims. If you have experience in all lines, that would be beneficial.
Experience ideally with an international broker and strong understanding of insurance principles and London market operations (Lloyd's and company markets).
