We are recruiting for an exciting Senior Commercial Manager position with a leading defence organisation. This role offers the chance to play a pivotal role in driving commercial success while contributing to innovative projects that enhance national security.

The Details

• Role: Senior Commercial Manager
• Location: Gloucestershire (hybrid working - 2 days a week in the office with occasional travel)
• Salary: Up to £85,000 + Bonus
• Clearance: Must have or be eligible to obtain SC clearance

What You'll Do

• Manage and negotiate complex commercial contracts within the defence sector.
• Provide strategic commercial advice to stakeholders, ensuring compliance and best practices.
• Identify and mitigate risks while capitalising on opportunities for growth.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a Senior Commercial Manager who:

• Has experience in a similar role, ideally within the defence or high-security industry.
• Team leadership experience is essential.
• A strong history of negotiating pre-signature deals, ideally in the defence digital/IT space.
• Possesses excellent negotiation, contract management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Meets the requirements for SC clearance or is eligible to obtain it.
