Senior Commercial Manager

We are now seeking a talented Senior Commercial Manager to join our Infrastructure Rail team.
What you'll do:- Business Strategy: Understand core business objectives and market conditions; Create networking opportunities.
- Pre-Contract Strategy: Develop tender strategies; produce preliminary estimates and staffing assessments; evaluate programme periods and critical path activities.
- Post-Contract Management: Set and achieve financial targets, develop solutions to overcome issues; fulfil project obligations; manage contract procedures and entitlements; resolve disputes.
- Design Change Management: Implement design change strategies in line with project goals.
- Subcontractor Administration: Manage valuations, payments, contract instructions, and finalise accounts.
- Cost Reporting: Conduct end-life forecasting, monthly reconciliations, and risk management.
- Insurance Administration: Oversee project insurance management.
- People Management: Manage direct reports; ensure performance reviews and learning plans are in place.
- Records Management: Maintain comprehensive records and archives.
- Commercial Manager working on large projects £100m+.
- Good working knowledge of NEC contract/commercial law.
- Expertise of working in rail projects desirable.
- MRICS or CICES desirable.
- Degree or equivalent in commercial related subject.
