Clinical Procurement Specialist, Key Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Procurement Leadership: Drive procurement transformation and cost savings in the NHS (preferred) or private healthcare.
  • Proactive Cost Savings: Identify and implement creative cost-saving solutions, from material substitutions to process improvements.
  • End-to-End Procurement: Own the full procurement lifecycle, delivering measurable savings - not just managing processes.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage senior stakeholders and suppliers to align procurement with business goals.
  • Multi-Category Expertise: Lead projects across various clinical procurement areas, including category management and strategic sourcing.
Clinical Procurement Specialist, Required Background:
  • Clinical Procurement Experience: NHS experience preferred; private healthcare considered.
  • Proven Savings Delivery: Strong track record of driving cost reductions through negotiation and innovation.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Hands-on approach to identifying and executing cost-saving opportunities.
  • Negotiation & Communication: Ability to manage senior relationships and secure the best outcomes.
  • Qualifications: MCIPS or relevant business qualification preferred.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel for client engagements (expenses covered).
