Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Credit Analyst for a 2-month fixed-term contract to support high-level credit risk assessments and lending operations. The successful candidate will provide in-depth financial analysis, assess complex credit portfolios, and offer strategic insights to senior stakeholders, ensuring robust risk management and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth credit risk assessments on corporate and institutional borrowers.
• Analyze complex financial statements, cash flow models, and credit metrics to assess creditworthiness.
• Prepare and present comprehensive credit reports with well-supported recommendations for senior management and credit committees.
• Monitor and manage existing loan portfolios, identifying early warning signs of potential risks.
• Ensure all credit risk assessments align with UK banking regulations, Basel III requirements, and internal risk policies.
• Collaborate closely with relationship managers, risk teams, and other stakeholders to optimize credit decision-making.
• Support stress testing, scenario analysis, and credit risk mitigation strategies.

Key Requirements:

• Extensive experience as a Senior Credit Analyst in the UK banking sector.
• Strong expertise in credit risk assessment, financial modeling, and regulatory compliance.
• Deep understanding of corporate banking, leveraged finance, and structured lending.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
