Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Data Visualisation team, a small but impactful group of consultants within our wider delivery capability. The team includes a mix of graduate and more senior consultants, all working together to turn complex data into meaningful insights. As part of this collaborative and innovative environment, you'll work on high-impact projects while contributing to the continuous evolution of our best practices in data storytelling and visualisation.
We are looking for a Senior Data Visualisation Consultant with strong Power BI experience. To start with, you'll join a project in the financial services sector. The project will involve integrating data from multiple systems, and modernising the data platform to improve analytics and reporting.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing Power BI dashboards, working closely with data engineers and business teams to turn complex data into actionable insights.
What you'll be doing
- Developing interactive and insightful Power BI dashboards to support business intelligence and analytics.
- Working with data engineers to ensure ETL processes support reporting needs.
- Designing data models to enable accurate and efficient reporting.
- Collaborating with business teams to understand and translate data requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with data governance and security standards.
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong experience in Power BI, including DAX, data modelling, and visualisation.
- Understanding of ETL processes and data integration best practices.
- Experience working in a financial services environment is preferred.
- Ability to communicate insights effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Azure, Databricks, and SQL-based reporting is a plus.
