Senior Design Manager

Anderselite are currently working with well-known contractors in a joint venture who are seeking a Senior Design Manager on a contract basis.

Minimum of 3 days per week on site - London based.

Contract Duration: 12 Month Maternity Cover Contract
Ideally, someone to start early March to provide a 6-week handover; however, candidates with a 4-week notice period will also be considered.

Responsibilities:

1. Leading teams of 6 Design Managers.
2. Overseeing the construction of headhouses and the fit-out of both shafts and headhouses.
3. Managing Stage 5 design and close-out of some Stage 4 design.
4. Focusing on fit-out including cladding, roofing systems, MEP, and architecture.

Additional Requirements:

1. People skills and managerial experience.
2. Change control design management.
3. Strong reporting experience of the programme.
4. Strong stakeholder management skills.
5. Experience in large-scale civil engineering projects.
6. Fit-out experience.
7. Knowledge of NEC contracts.
8. Experience in Stage 5 design and managing numerous specialist contractors.
