About the roleThis is an exciting opportunity to join the ITS Division at the University of Sussex and become an essential part of a team driving the University's most exciting and impactful initiatives. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Developer (Boomi). In this pivotal role, you will manage and support the University's Boomi API Integrations solution, spearheading its development and overseeing any future projects requiring integration support. As the leader of the integrations function, you will ensure seamless integration across our infrastructure and provide critical support for both Business As Usual (BAU) operations and Sussex Projects.
Working closely with the business, you will ensure a thorough understanding of issues and requirements, fostering strong communication and collaboration. You will engage in activities that involve identifying, designing, building, installing, integrating, testing, debugging, and adding new features to our software systems and components.
Your leadership will be crucial in building and supporting your team, maximising their output, and delivering excellent service to our customers.
About youWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual with a strong background in Boomi API Management and software development to join our team as a Senior Developer for Integrations.
- Expertise in Boomi API Management Tool and integration patterns/practices.
- Extensive knowledge of professional software development practices and associated technologies.
- Significant software development experience, with a solid understanding of SDLCs.
- Proven experience in leading teams, with the ability to build rapport and effectively influence team members.
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills with the ability to present policy and procedure in a way that can be understood by the audience.
- Experience working with multiple code repositories.
- Extensive experience leading a team/s.
- Commitment to customer excellence.
