Your new role

As our new Senior / Principal Electrical Engineer, you will be working as part of a team. You will be expected to manage your own project work, undertake detailed design to the required standards, and maintain excellent levels of client service.

You will be part of a team with a strong focus on technical delivery and excellent understanding of client care. You will play a key role in a close-knit team working on various projects. There is also potential to get involved in international signature projects. We foster a supportive and collaborative culture and enjoy what we do! Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Represent Ramboll on MEP projects, leading your discipline and managing engineers of complementary disciplines on suitably sized projects.
2. Complete detailed designs and supervise the work of others.
3. Mentor and support the development of junior engineers.
4. Manage your project time to meet deadlines and complete tasks as stipulated by the project manager.
5. If acting as the Ramboll project manager, coordinate tasks to meet deadlines, allocate resources, and manage project finances.

About you

These include:

• Being a qualified Engineer with a proven track record in your discipline.
• Having a CIBSE / IET / IMechE Engineering Council accredited honours degree or an HNC in an applicable discipline, with a commitment to higher education.
• Achieved or working towards IEng or CEng status.
• Ability to work independently on technical aspects or possess specific specialist experience.
• Ability to inspire confidence internally and externally, strengthening client relationships.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts.
• Interest or experience in digital and parametric design tools.
