Job Description
An exciting opportunity is available for an Electrical Design Engineer to join a dynamic and growing building services team, working on residential, commercial, cultural, healthcare and education projects. This role offers design ownership and the chance to make a tangible impact on project delivery and company growth.
Role Responsibilities- Lead electrical design for residential and commercial projects, with a focus on utility connections and life safety systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal design standards.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to share resources and knowledge.
- Engage directly with clients from early RIBA stages, helping shape sustainable and innovative solutions.
- Deliver projects to timelines with a strong emphasis on professionalism.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development.
- Proven electrical design experience within building services, ideally with a background in residential and commercial developments.
- Demonstrable management or mentoring experience.
- Strong understanding of integration of teams.
- Previous experience in building services consultancy with a passion for sustainable design and innovation.
- A proactive communicator with client-facing experience.
- Comfortable working collaboratively within a fast-growing and ambitious team.
- Open to senior-level professionals as well as confident 'hungry' junior candidates with strong communication skills.
