To strengthen our team in Singapore, we are looking for bright and ambitious talent to join as a Senior Employee Engagement Consultant within our Centre of Excellence for employee listening. This is a team with deep expertise in employee research, who serve as internal consultants across Mercer.
The COE is looking for an individual that can work across the three main tasks of the team: Sales Enablement, Thought Leadership and Operations Enablement. This person will work across Asia, IMEA and Pacific, supporting the sales and delivery of the Employee Engagement solutions powered by Mercer.
1) Sales Enablement
Partner with specific countries to support their business development efforts through knowledge sharing, meetings, identification of target clients / industry, etc.
Work closely with partner platforms to drive collaborative projects.
Respond to proposals: managing proposal response and building content.
Manage inventory and update available sales materials (case studies, proposals, etc.)
2) Thought Leadership
Help to build upon the Mercer brand in the employee listening space through publications, speaking events, contributing to panels, etc. The individual therefore needs to be capable of public speaking to large and / or senior audiences.
Support the Centre of Expertise in identification of topics and content in order to drive brand awareness and to be able to provide relevant and topical materials to enable client outreach.
3) Operations Enablement
Take an active role in large, complex project delivery, acting as a project manager and also a coach to the consultant delivery team (sharing best practice materials, establishing timelines, managing scope creep, etc.)
Develop expertise in Mercer in-house software as well as partner software (e.g. Glint, Qualtrics, and others). Work with the delivery and development teams on development road map and status updates, etc.
Work closely with the delivery teams to help develop relevant team members on consultant-facing skill sets for more direct delivery team to consultant interaction (on day-to-day project management and issue resolution).
What you need to have:
Extensive prior consulting experience in employee engagement and organizational culture.
Well versed in articulating client research objectives, defining project scope and creating content that drives success.
Expert at deriving insight from data, and presenting to senior level audiences.
Ability to successfully implement complex global employee surveys.
Skilled at client and scope management, with a demonstrated ability to manage the project scope, cost and timelines.
Experience with qualitative and quantitative survey data, focus group planning and facilitation is a component of this role.
Exceptional communication skills.
Detailed, logical and methodical working style.
Self-driven and credible.
Ability to build partnerships and alliances.
A passion for knowledge sharing and performing to an exceptional standard.
Prior experience working across various cultures and time zones would be a plus.
