ProSidian Seeks a Senior FOIA & Privacy Act Analyst FOIA Administration Support USA005010 for Program Support on a Exempt W2: No Overtime Pay Basis located in the OCONUS - Caribbean Region (Greater and Lesser Antilles - Cuba) supporting The Staff Judge Advocate (OSJA), Joint Task Force of The Dept. of the Army Office located at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay (GTMO), Cuba that provides legal counsel and oversight to JTF-GTMO operations in compliance with U.S. and international law.
JOB OVERVIEW
Provide services and support as a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Administration Support (Senior FOIA & Privacy Act Analyst) in the DOD/Military Industry Sector focusing on Compliance Solutions for clients such as US Department of the Army (Army) Office of the Staff Judge Advocate, Joint Task Force - Guantanamo Bay (JTF-GTMO), Cuba.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Leads FOIA request intake, research, and response operations, applying Privacy Act and FOIA exemption redactions.
- Manages electronic FOIA processing systems and document control workflows, ensuring efficient compliance and coordination with government officials.
- Initial review of FOIA requests and reviewing responsive materials.
- Applying redactions using Redact Express and similar tools.
- Providing FOIA-specific training to action officers and providing technical support.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews for redactions submitted by JTF-GTMO Directorates.
- Tracks and coordinates responses from various offices and redacts materials where appropriate.
- Drafts and prepares for signature responses to requests, which may contain redactions or partial denial to protect information.
- Communicating with outside organizations and higher headquarters on FOIA-related matters.
Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in processing FOIA requests.
- Lead Specialist must hold a bachelor's degree.
- Strong understanding of FOIA exemptions and federal records management regulations.
- Ability to work independently and maintain strict confidentiality.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
