In the role of Senior FP&A Manager, you will take charge of a high-impact Financial Planning & Analysis function that adds significant value to the organisation. This highly commercial position will require you to work closely with all departments across the business and collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team. You will play a pivotal role in promoting a culture focused on data-driven decision-making, continuously striving to optimise processes and provide actionable insights that drive profitability and business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the monthly rolling forecast and bi-annual budgeting process.
  • Oversee the Risks & Opportunities schedule, escalating issues to the Senior Leadership Team when necessary.
  • Business Partner with the Leadership Teams including Heads of departments, and foster strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Take ownership of Board reporting, ensuring it is of the highest quality.
  • Assist with the 5-Year Plan, working closely with the Finance Director and SLT.
  • Contribute to the development of KPIs and the Power BI reporting suite.
  • Evaluate new product business cases and drive process improvements.
  • Provide analytical support for key decisions, including modelling global manufacturing strategies.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a small team (initially 2 direct reports).
  • Undertake other ad-hoc tasks as needed to support business priorities.

About You:

  • Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent).
  • Significant experience (ideally 5+ years) in FP&A or Commercial Finance, with a proven ability to manage P&Ls, lead forecasting cycles, and act as a trusted business partner.
  • Ideally, you will have experience in high-growth or consumer-driven businesses, though a positive attitude is more important than industry-specific experience.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable insights and engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing and developing teams is preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to build complex financial models, are essential.
  • Experience with Power BI is an advantage.
