Senior HR Advisor

  • Contract to perm
  • Central London
  • Hybrid working - 4 days in the office

They are looking for a Senior HR Advisor to work closely with the business and get involved with the end-to-end employee lifecycle. What is the role

  • Stakeholder Interaction: Confidently communicating with stakeholders and connect with the international HR team to align processes and policies.
  • Employee Relations: Engaging in performance conversations with managers and employees, providing HR advice and taking notes
  • Employee Engagement: Assist in launching and managing employee engagement surveys.
  • Operational HR Tasks: Efficiently managing HR operations including payroll checks, invoice reconciliation, new hire processes, and setting up files.
  • Document Preparation: Preparing documents using Excel, pivot tables, reporting, and mail merges. Maintaining meticulous attention to detail in shared drives.
  • Policy Management: Updating and tracking changes in policy and employment handbooks, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Skills and Experience

  • For this role, you must have previous HR Advisor/HR Generalist experience gained within Financial Services
  • You must be used to working within a small team, with exposure to standalone HR functions.
  • Ability to handle operational tasks independently, especially when key team members are absent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to have difficult conversations.
  • Strong attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in document preparation and policy management.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and manual spreadsheet management.
