About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Chartered Landscape Architect (CMLI) to join our Landscape team. The role is for a landscape architect who has the capability to run projects from inception to completion. We adopt a multi-disciplinary design approach, on a variety of projects across our sectors, which vary in scale and complexity.
You will need to be able to work as part of a team as well as independently. Be a self-motivated and enthusiastic candidate, with a passion for design and for client satisfaction.
Location
It is proposed that the role will be based in either our Exeter, Plymouth or Liskeard studios.
Key Requirements
Candidates are required to have an undergraduate and/or postgraduate degree in Landscape Architecture and be a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI) with demonstrable post Chartership experience within the UK. They will exhibit the following skills:
- Experience in working on projects in the UK;
- Proven experience as a Project Runner, working across several projects and in multi-disciplinary team environments;
- Excellent design skills;
- Excellent communication skills, verbal, written and presentation;
- Planting knowledge to produce planting plans;
- Proven specification writing capability using NBS software;
- Good client relationship and business development capability;
- Team leadership skills with the willingness and ability to mentor and support other members of the team through project development and Pathway to Chartership;
- Excellent CAD skills in AutoCAD;
- Experience across all the RIBA work stages 0-7;
- Graphic skills in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop;
- Experience of bidding, producing fee proposals and other tender processes for new project opportunities;
- Excellent report writing skills using Word and Adobe InDesign;
- Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA) experience;
