Senior Manager - Mixed Tax OMB

Our client is a leading accounting and tax practice based in London. They are enjoying an ongoing spell of growth and are looking to appoint an experienced Mixed Tax Senior Manager to build and lead a new team to focus on OMB advisory.

As a Senior Manager OMB:

As a Senior Manager working in this new team you will have a broad technical knowledge of all taxes and come from a mixed tax background/environment. You will be an expert general practitioner, able to pick up client work and quickly spot requirements and solutions to tax challenges. You will enjoy dealing with clients on a face-to-face basis and have excellent all-round communication skills and be able to lead, train and develop junior members of staff.

As a central figure in the new OMB team, you will advise in all areas of compliance and advisory work across all taxes including EMI and EIS matters.

• Responding to clients and colleagues with regards to ad hoc queries
• Enterprise investment scheme: Reviewing the qualifying status of companies and preparing advanced assurances
• Share schemes: reviewing the qualifying status for tax advantaged schemes, advising on the tax implications of providing incentives to staff and preparing valuations
• Researching technical tax issues and providing advisory reports and memos

What are they looking for?

• Strong technical mixed tax experience & knowledge working with a growing client base
• Private Client, Corporate Tax or a strong mixed tax background
• Strong relationship management & building skills
• Experience coaching, developing & managing teams
