Senior Manager, Finance

Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to take responsibility for the monthly management results of their entities. This role involves preparing interim and year-end financial statements while ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards. The successful candidate will also oversee the audit process, liaise with tax consultants, and manage a Senior Accounts Officer. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to contribute to a dynamic finance division.

Job Duties:

1. Prepare monthly management results for US and Caribbean entities, ensuring adherence to strict internal reporting deadlines.
2. Prepare annual financial statements in compliance with relevant reporting standards.
3. Manage interim reviews and year-end audits, acting as a key contact for auditors and overseeing audit deliverables.
4. Oversee bookkeeping and reconciliation of salaries for the US Group.
5. Liaise with external tax consultants to complete consolidated US tax returns.
6. Prepare quarterly and annual Bureau of Economic Analysis returns for submission to the U.S. Department of Commerce.
7. Line manage and mentor a Senior Accounts Officer.
8. Conduct a four-eye review of month-end management accounts for the ICS division.
9. Contribute to the year-end budgeting process.
10. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, AML legislation, and internal risk and compliance procedures.
11. Undertake other duties as required by management.

Job Requirements:

1. ACCA or ACA qualified.
2. Previous line management experience.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
5. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
