Location: Hybrid - Central London office and up to 2 days remote working per week

The role: This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest-growing money-saving websites. We're seeking an enthusiastic person to join our Australian team as we aim to grow our Australia operation/website. Although we have successful affiliate marketing companies in the UK and other countries, the Australian team runs effectively as a small start-up. The primary focus is on marketing the website and increasing our member base, but the role is varied depending on daily needs, including customer service, partnerships, or marketing. Your focus will be on doing what is needed to grow the website and think like it is your own business.
Due to the time difference to Australia, the candidate will sometimes be expected to be flexible around working hours when required, for example, during big shopping periods like Black Friday.
Person Specification: We are looking for someone with good knowledge of the Australian e-commerce market, who will enthuse about building top-notch marketing campaigns. Experience working with different performance marketing channels such as PPC (Google Ads) and an understanding of Affiliate Marketing is preferable. The ideal candidate will have lived in Australia for a significant amount of time with first-hand experience of shopping online in Australia and a good understanding of how and where Australian customers research, shop, and save online.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning, creating, and managing digital marketing campaigns tailored to the Australian market.
- Drive membership growth through engagement, email campaigns, referrals, and strategic partnerships.
- Research, test, and optimize online media opportunities, including social, influencer, and mobile campaigns.
- Analyze campaign performance and look for improvements, and negotiate exclusive brand offers.
- Line manage the customer service admin team member, escalating broader issues to Senior Management.
Requirements:
- Good knowledge of online shopping and money-saving initiatives, particularly in the Australian market.
- Some experience in digital performance marketing, including:
- PPC (Google Ads)
- Social media campaigns (Instagram / Facebook / Twitter)
- App Marketing
- Influencer marketing
- Affiliate marketing
- Partner marketing campaigns
- Analytical and reporting skills - results and fact-driven, with a naturally inquisitive nature and a keen eye for detail.
- Creative nature with the ability to copywrite and produce promotional marketing material.
- A self-starter with the ability to motivate yourself and use your own initiative.
- The ability to multi-task, prioritize a workload and work to deadlines.
- A real team player.
- Line management responsibility for one customer service team member.
