Salary Range:$110,000 - $130,000

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead the deployment, commissioning, and enhancement of industrial processing systems. In this dynamic, field-based role, you will be responsible for on-site engineering support, staff training, process improvements, and technical problem resolution for high-profile manufacturing projects. This position requires excellent analytical skills, a strong background in process optimization, and readiness for significant international travel.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee the on-site installation, start-up, and commissioning of complex industrial systems.
• Act as the primary engineering point-of-contact during project rollouts, coordinating efforts and ensuring successful system launches.
• Innovate and refine equipment designs, operational techniques, and process enhancements.
• Deliver comprehensive training programs for customers and prepare thorough documentation to support system operations.
• Mentor new hires on best practices and company procedures related to industrial systems.
• Serve as a technical consultant, offering expert advice on system operation, troubleshooting, and process refinement.
• Generate regular progress updates, travel summaries, and detailed project reports.
• Plan and manage the logistics for system erection and commissioning activities.
• Provide ongoing technical support and strategic recommendations for process improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a high level of international travel (up to 60%), often involving extended assignments.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience in process engineering or operations management within industrial processing systems.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical schematics, vendor documentation, and maintenance manuals.
• Demonstrated experience working directly with industrial equipment and an aptitude for on-site problem solving.
• Strong troubleshooting capabilities and a proactive approach to process optimization.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD (or a commitment to learning the software).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, shifting environment while managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Exceptional communication skills for conveying complex technical information clearly.
• Flexibility to travel internationally up to 60% for prolonged periods.

Preferred Attributes

• Background in combustion management systems and/or molten metal processing.
• Multilingual abilities (fluency in Hindi, Chinese, Arabic, or Russian is a plus).
• Experience working with global clients and coordinating with international teams.
• Demonstrated leadership and training experience in an industrial setting.
