About the roleJoin Boba Brands as Senior Product Category Manager and lead the charge in shaping innovative, market-leading products. In this role, you will be pivotal in defining and executing our product strategy, managing product development from scoping to launch, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, external agencies, suppliers, and factories. ResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy and Vision:
- Develop and implement the product strategy for Boba Brands, using insights from customer and competitor analysis.
- Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and strategic goals.
- Drive innovation and present new ideas that align with Boba Brands' long-term objectives.
Collaborative Product Development and Project Management:
- Manage the entire product development lifecycle from scoping to launch, including project management, timelines, and deliverables.
- Work closely with internal teams, external agencies, suppliers, and factories to ensure high product quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery.
- Manage the commercial aspects of product development, including budgeting, cost management, and profitability analysis.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with various teams within Boba Brands, including marketing, sales, and operations, to ensure product alignment with broader business strategies.
- Coordinate with external partners, agencies, and suppliers to drive innovation and uphold high standards throughout the product life cycle.
Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the key liaison between the product function and stakeholders, ensuring alignment across departments and external partners.
- Communicate product vision and progress to senior leadership and other relevant parties.
Budget and Resource Management:
- Oversee the product development budget, ensuring effective resource allocation to meet strategic goals.
- Balance short-term objectives with the long-term product vision.
Self-Leadership and Personal Development:
- Maintain a sustainable workload and stay motivated, continuously reflecting on work to enhance leadership skills.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and product management innovations.
- Demonstrated success in managing product development, collaborating with suppliers, agencies, and factories, and managing commercial aspects.
- Expertise in project management, from concept through launch.
- Experience with user experience, A/B testing, and data analysis to achieve product-market fit.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and a track record of working effectively with diverse teams and external partners.
- Ability to create structure out of ambiguity with a pragmatic, collaborative approach.
