Our all-in-one business account and accounting app helps over 60,000 small business owners save time, reduce admin, and stay in control of their finances. We're looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer to help shape the future of Countingup - on a part-time basis.

You'll work across the full product design lifecycle, from discovery to delivery, in close collaboration with product managers, engineers, and our Head of Design. You'll lead design on a product team, using insight and creativity to solve real problems for real people.

This is an ideal role for a designer who wants meaningful part-time work with high impact - and the autonomy to get on with it.

We work hybrid, with at least one day a week in our Central London office and flexibility the rest of the time.

• Understand the needs, pain points, and behaviours of self-employed users
  
• Work with stakeholders to align on product goals and direction
  
• Collaborate with engineers on technical feasibility
  
• Plan and run user research to inform product decisions
  

• Facilitate ideation workshops and design discovery
  
• Create journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to explore ideas
  
• Respond to feedback and iterate collaboratively with your team
  

• Design clear, elegant, accessible user interfaces for mobile and web
  
• Use and contribute to our design system to ensure consistency
  
• Plan and run usability testing and help shape iterative release plans
  
• Collaborate post-launch to monitor, measure and evolve your designs
  
• Document design logic and apply a systematic approach to your work
  

We'd love to hear from you if you:

• Have 4+ years' experience in UX/UI for digital products, with a strong focus on mobile
  
• Are comfortable leading design across the full product lifecycle
  
• Are confident working independently and making smart decisions in ambiguity
  
• Have a strong eye for detail and passion for high-quality design
  
• Are empathetic and user-first in your thinking
  
• Can clearly explain your thinking and design decisions to different audiences
  
• Have experience with user research and design systems
  
• Know accessibility standards and how to apply them
  
• (Bonus) Have experience in fintech, accounting, or running a small business
