The team

Get ready to dive into our dynamic Product Team, led by our Head of Product Diane , and backed by a talented crew including 3 Product Managers, 1 Technical Product Manager, 2 creative Product Designers, and 2 savvy Product Marketing Managers!

Each PM works with a squad (5 developers per squad). You will be taking over our 5th squad "Office Online" from Valentin , who will be leading our new AI-focused squad. You will work closely with Ivan , the Tech Lead of this team.

This squad is strategic for UpSlide. It's the first to try new ways to build our features and is directly responsible for monitoring Microsoft Office Online evolutions. Example of recent releases:

  • GANTT charts , first UpSlide PowerPoint feature available on Desktop and Online

  • Outlook signatures first UpSlide Outlook feature available on Desktop, Online, and Mobile.

Your responsibilities ️
  • Product discovery (40%)

Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to uncover user pain points, behaviors, and needs. -Lead customer interviews, surveys, and usability tests to validate assumptions.

  • Product strategy (20%)

-Build and nurture your product vision based on the data you gathered (from users, your team, data analysis, competitors, market trends, industry best-practices ).

-Turn that into a strategy and a well-thought roadmap: you will make sure that we're building the right features.

-Make sure your team/stakeholders understand and embrace it through your engaging communication.

  • Product delivery (40%)

-Work closely with product designers and developers to come up with the best solution to address users' pain points: you will also make sure that we're building the feature right.

-Turn your roadmap into a backlog of user stories. Organize and prioritize everything, and explain the rationale behind it to all stakeholders and to your team.

-Ensure that all products shipped by your team are bug-free.

-Ensure other teams (Support, CSM, Product Marketing) have minimum materials to understand and roll out features successfully

Career and Salary

The annual salary package for this role in Paris is €65,000 - €82,000.
This salary range is inclusive of several career levels at UpSlide and will be narrowed during the interview process based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.

You are a great fit if you have:

  • You have +5 years of experience in product management

  • You are familiar with Microsoft Office (we build on it!)

  • You master the tools and processes to run this flow: user feedback, mock-ups, EPICs, user stories

  • You handle ambiguity, complexity, and interdependencies, in a prioritized and structured way

  • You are detailed-oriented and want to build a productivity tool used daily by thousands of users

  • You have great written and verbal communication skills in English and French and know how to communicate with different stakeholders

We'd love it if:

  • You've worked in SaaS or in Finance

  • You experienced the pain of building perfect slides or Excel models in a previous job
