Description
As our C&S team continues to grow and remain an integral part of our broader team, we seek a motivated Senior Engineer to manage and direct projects in the Power sector. This role is a key part of our expanding department.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive project delivery experience and will be eager to mentor graduate engineers and technicians in both technical design and project management.
A thorough understanding of managing project delivery to quality, cost and programme is essential and experience in the power sector is highly desirable.
Key Objectives- Manage and deliver single- and/or multi-disciplinary projects to cost, schedule and quality criteria
- Coordinate various aspects of infrastructure design work on a range of project sizes
- Mentor, train and develop engineers, technicians, graduates and apprentices
- Contribute to wider development of the C&S (Power team) department capabilities
- HNC/ HND Civil Engineering and / or recognised Civil Engineering Degree
- Professional membership of an appropriate body (ICE, APM, CIHT, IHE etc.), or actively in the process of achieving this preferred
- Experience in managing project delivery
- Experienced in directing project teams
- Technically proficient in Infrastructure design and coordination
- Exceptional communication skills both written and oral
- Full UK Driving Licence
