The role
As a Senior Project Manager, you'll manage a programme of facility and infrastructure upgrades on the Nuclear Site in Devonport Royal Dockyard, supporting the UK's fleet of Vanguard-Class Submarines.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop and report on a team of nuclear project professionals.
  • Drive accurate programme reporting against schedule, cost and quality, ensuring projects are correctly governed and assured.
  • Manage key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate risks within the programme.

Essential experience of the Senior Project Manager:

  • Experience of leading and managing project teams.
  • Experience of delivering complex programmes of work on a nuclear licensed site or other highly regulated industry.
  • Experience of reporting on full project lifecycles.
  • Experience of managing and delivering facility or infrastructure projects in regulated industries.

Qualifications for the Senior Project Manager:

  • Minimum NVQ Level 4 in an engineering discipline, technical discipline, business qualification (BTEC HNC in management minimum) or demonstrable work experience.
  • APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or equivalent qualification in project management.
  • Chartership in engineering, project management, technical or business discipline preferred.

Security Clearance:
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
