We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Building Services Team located in Huntington. You will professionally manage and organise the design, implementation and construction management of Integrated Network Infrastructure on projects under your control. This will incorporate procurement, installation, commissioning, compliance testing and final handover to the end client, delivering within budget and programme to the satisfaction of all engaged parties. It will include overseeing a number of concurrent specialist contracts within the Defence Sector, liaising with the end clients and key stakeholders ensuring the implementation of project and production controls procedures are always adhered to. The role will include the accurate forecasting and reporting of monthly progress, out turn cost and revenue, ensuring accuracy and consistency drives improved profitability.

You'll:

  • Represent the company at customer meetings, promote the correct company image and ensure staff are aware of their responsibilities.
  • Ensure all relevant Security processes and compliance documents are adhered to at all times.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency within the commercial reporting process.
  • Add value to the design process by challenging solutions, methods and techniques where appropriate to deliver works within the contract programme, improve buildability and reduce whole life costs.
  • Ensure all design solutions (where applicable) offered by designers and sub-contractors fully comply with the project documentation and budget strategy.
  • Manage the trade contractors including the production of working drawings, procurement and performance on site.
  • Gauge progress and set specific goals for others to maintain.
  • Build and maintain trusting relationships with customers and clients.
  • Drive towards continuous development through innovation and the use of new and emerging technology.
  • Take responsibility for all aspects of progress and production control.
