Our client is a leading renewable energy company focused on pioneering clean energy solutions.
With a commitment to delivering high-impact, large-scale solar energy solutions, they are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their team for the exciting development of a 50MW solar farm project. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to an ambitious renewable energy initiative, ensuring the successful execution of the project while managing costs and risks effectively.
The Role of Senior Project Manager
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of a c.50MW solar farm project near Bristol UK. This role requires strong project management skills, technical expertise in solar energy, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to ensure the successful completion of the project on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution: Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets. Ensure all project milestones and deliverables are met.
- Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including project sponsors, regulatory bodies, and internal teams. Provide regular project updates and address any issues or concerns.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all project activities comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
- Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize project efficiency.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation and prepare detailed reports on project status, progress, and performance.
