You will be joining a high-profile and established main contractor based in Derby operating in the water sector. This multi-accredited organisation has a strong pipeline of work, being Severn Trent's preferred contractor for the delivery of their non-infrastructure works, and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success and significant growth, they are looking to onboard a Senior Project Manager to join their team.

This is a full-time permanent position with flexible/hybrid working.
Your new role
As Senior Project Manager, you will be based out of their Derby office and be responsible for, but not limited to:

Monitoring and reviewing financial and delivery performance on projects

Ensuring successful project delivery by liaising with delivery teams throughout project lifecycles

Creating and maintaining project programmes

Holding accountability for compliance and health and safety auditing

Approving invoices and ensuring payments are made within timescales

Managing a programme of works and a team of project managers.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you must have:

Strong background in project management within the water industry and a strong understanding of operational activities

Financial awareness and ability to work to budgets

Sound understanding of NEC contracts

Ability to liaise effectively with key project stakeholders at all levels

Full UK driving licence.

Starting salary up to £80,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience)
