Job Description

Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Location: Leeds, UK

Salary: £60,000 - £75,000

The Senior Project Manager will be at the forefront of client engagement and project delivery across a diverse range of sectors. This role presents a unique opportunity to work on varied property projects, collaborating closely with valued clients. Strong interpersonal skills and a consultancy background are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Engaging directly with clients to understand their project requirements, objectives, and expectations across various sectors.
  2. Leading project teams effectively, fostering clear communication, collaboration, and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
  3. Developing and nurturing strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and proactively addressing any concerns or challenges.
  4. Efficiently managing project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure successful project outcomes.
  5. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
  6. Providing regular updates and reports to clients and stakeholders, highlighting project progress, risks, and recommendations for mitigation.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in project management within a consultancy environment is essential.
  2. Chartered status (MICOB or MRICS) is preferred.
  3. Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
  5. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while upholding high standards of quality and attention to detail.
  6. Flexibility and adaptability to work across various sectors and project types.
  7. Degree qualification in a relevant field (e.g., construction management, engineering, architecture) is desirable.
  8. Experience in construction project management, including scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and quality control, is required.
