We're seeking a dynamic Senior Risk Analyst to join our Global Risk Management team. This role will play a pivotal part in developing and managing corporate risk and insurance strategies, optimizing processes, and delivering actionable insights for scalable growth. What You'll Do
As a Senior Risk Analyst, you'll collaborate across operations, finance, and legal to assess, mitigate, and manage risk in a fast-evolving environment. Your key responsibilities include:
- Draft, maintain, and update model risk policies and procedures aligned with Deel's ERM framework.
- Support the implementation of Key Risk Indicator (KRI) and ERM frameworks.
- Review documentation (Policy, Standards and Procedures) to ensure completeness, gain feedback from key stakeholders and confirm alignment with enterprise policies.
- Work with team members and key stakeholders to develop appropriate metrics and deliver relevant and accurate data.
- Work with internal teams, including the Technology senior leadership team, to gain an in-depth understanding of existing risks, causes, severity rating, controls, and remediation.
- Leverage internal systems and tools (e.g., Risk Management Information System, actuarial reports) to identify and act on trends in loss and cost of risk.
- Develop benchmarking metrics to drive risk mitigation priorities.
- Oversee the implementation and ongoing management of core ERM frameworks and programs, including but not limited to risk appetite, key risk indicators (KRIs), risk and control self-assessments (RCSAs), product risk management.
- Lead initiatives to enhance the ERM frameworks and ensure alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
- Foster a risk aware culture by developing and enhancing risk education, educating business and control functions on risk management principles, and finding opportunities to integrate risk principles into the way we operate.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc risk reports for ERM governance, boards, and other relevant stakeholders.
What You Bring
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Work Experience: 5-7 years; Risk Management, Technology Risk Management, IT Operational Risk Management and risk reporting. Expertise with ERM frameworks, including risk appetite, KRIs, RCSAs.
- Experience with integrating risk management frameworks into business processes and fostering a risk aware culture.
- Demonstrated experience supporting and/or leading risk projects across multiple business lines offering a wide variety of financial services products and services.
- Advanced understanding of the regulatory environment and the risks of products and payment services in Deel.
- Excellent analytical and complex problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications in auditing, risk, or compliance (e.g., CIA, CRM).
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL and Excel.
- Experience defining program requirements and leveraging data-driven insights to optimize processes.
