Senior SAP Platform Engineer

Senior SAP Platform Engineer- Krailling, Munich- Permanent opportunity
I am currently supporting a global industrial 3D printing provider on their search for a Senior SAP Platform Engineer to join their team in Krailling, Munich on a permanent basis.

The role:

• As an IT application engineer, you will work with their state-of-the-art SAP landscapes and provide real added value for all product teams, management, and internal customers.
• You will be part of their product team on the tech side where you will build prototypes, PoCs, and recommend solutions to improve their SAP Platform.
• You will design, estimate, develop and implement projects based on SAP S4HANA technologies.
• You will review functional specifications to ensure completeness in preparation for development.
• You will configure and develop interfaces in the SAP environment.
• You will participate in planning and implementation of release changes, migrations, and updates in the application environment.
• You will provide technical SAP advisory and consulting to projects and products for custom development and performance optimization.
• You can be relied on; you will prepare decision-making documents, present results, and participate in projects in the integrative environment.
• You will accompany the entire process from requirements analysis through to implementation.
• You will ensure the adherence of SAP Standards and Best Practices.

Experience required:

• At least 5 years of experience with SAP Basis.
• Knowledge of S/4HANA technical architecture concepts and design.
• Working experience with S/4 HANA implementation projects.
• Working experience with SAP Permission Concepts, ideally FIORI specific topics.
• Ideally, you have good knowledge of EDI and its technical implementation in the SAP environment (ALE, IDOC, RFC).
• Experience with cloud solutions (SaaS, PaaS), knowledge of SAP operations in the Microsoft Azure Cloud would be a great advantage.
• A valuable addition is knowledge of OpenAPI and REST.
• Development experience in RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Reports, and workflow).
• Knowledge working with any integration technologies (IDOC, OData, APIs, Web Services, SAP CPI, AIF, SAP Gateway)
• Capability to work well in a virtual and distributed team-based environment and able to work under pressure with committed deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English (verbal and written).
• Experience in Agile practices and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• A degree in computer science or related subject or equivalent experience.
