Senior SAP Treasury Consultant - Amsterdam

Financial Systems & SAP - The Financial Systems team is responsible for the systems supporting the Finance function (from Credit Control to Treasury to Payments). The main system in this environment is SAP, and additional systems based on open technology aligned with the company tech stack. As part of Financial Systems, the SAP Specialist is an expert in Finance and he/she must be able to master the niche of one or more SAP modules, as well as be able to manage projects and customize the software for our needs. They take ownership of the full project cycle from business requirements to implementation of the necessary features. To achieve this goal, SAP Specialists are responsible to analyze business goals, objectives, needs and translate them into SAP solutions. They need to have a good understanding of finance processes (eg Accounting) and good experience in implementing changes for finance in SAP.

Key Responsibilities

• Full ownership for the quality of changes, communication, coordination, compliance aspects, customization, and go-live hypercare
• Analytical thinking, providing scalable and innovative solutions
• Ability to take fast decisions in a very dynamic environment with some level of uncertainty
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities (processes, people) to improve project delivery and/or development methodologies
• Training of key users and key user support
• Analyzing issues and changes
• Day-to-day support and incident resolution

Requirements of Special Knowledge/Skills

• 10+ years of core SAP Treasury hands-on experience.
• 10+ years of experience in SAP Treasury configuration and business process mapping in both ECC and S/4HANA environments.
• Strong knowledge and experience in hedging processes and raw exposure creation.
• Expertise in Treasury processes, including:
  • Cash Management
  • Cash Flow Forecasting
  • Bank Account Management
  • Intercompany Loans
  • FX Trades
  • Bank Statements
• In-House Cash experience is a must; Bank Communication Management is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Deep knowledge in translating business requirements into technical designs and solutions.
• Hands-on experience in:
  • Preparing functional and technical specifications
  • Conducting testing, including UAT
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Organized, flexible, proactive, and result-oriented.
• ABAP code debugging capability is a plus (ability to read, interpret, and design program logic).
• Experience in integrating digital platforms/Legacy applications with SAP is required.
