My client currently requires a Contract Senior Security Consultant. The Security Consultant will be working within a public sector organisation; working as part of a large multi-workstream programme. This role will sit between consultancy and advisory.

The successful candidate must be business-facing and able to articulate/evangelise Security across wider IT teams.

• Day Rate: £700-£800pd
• IR35 Status: Inside
• Duration: 6 Months initially
• Hybrid

The Security Consultant will have the following experience:

• Active DV clearance - this is non-negotiable. Must be active and used within 6 months.
• Extensive and demonstrable experience working within public sector/government.
• Excellent stakeholder management - must be able to articulate Security principles to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and stand off to senior leaders across the organisation.
• Strong understanding of secure SDLC.
• Broad understanding of Security across SecOps, Cloud, Infrastructure, Networks, and Engineering.
• Documented reference architectures and security designs for new apps, infrastructure, and integrations.
• Security accreditations preferred such as CISM, CISSP, M.Inst.ISP, CGEIT, CISA.
