The salary band for this post is Band C, £54,922.00 to £60,675.00, starting salary will be on the base of the salary scale, £54,922.00.
Working pattern: Fixed Term, 15 months.
Location: Flexible although frequent travel to Stirling and Edinburgh will be required.

SEPA is looking for an excellent communicator with the ability to exercise good judgement and provide well thought through pragmatic legal advice.
As a public body, it is essential that SEPA has good governance in place. The Corporate Legal team is key to this. SEPA as an organisation is changing. We are looking to simplify and strengthen governance across the organisation. This requires strong, considered and flexible legal advice.
Corporate Legal is SEPA's in-house corporate legal team. The team comprises of trusted legal advisers of various specialisms, bringing valuable expertise to SEPA. We provide effective solutions that are tailored and pragmatic with our legal advice being considered, flexible and valuable. This is a highly important role within our Governance, Performance & Engagement portfolio working with the Legal Senior manager, and Head of Function and requiring strong strategic leadership skills.
We are looking for a trained, Scottish qualified Solicitor to become an integral part of the Corporate Legal team. You need to be a strong communicator, good at collaborating and influencing others, to build constructive working relationships at all levels across the organisation to deliver a high standard of service. You will be able to explain complex corporate legal information in a simple way that connects with the audience you are advising. Attention to detail and strong analytical skills are essential to applying legislation and case law to problems to develop solutions that can succeed. A pragmatic and positive proactive approach to managing a busy workload is important, recognising that you will need to be able to adapt quickly in response to changing priorities.
