Senior Tax Analyst , Transfer Pricing

Amazon is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst - Transfer Pricing candidate to join the Tax Team in India. The Amazon Tax Department is a fast-paced, team-focused and dynamic environment. The position will support transfer pricing operations and compliance activities, including the collection and analysis of large volumes of data and information supporting related party transactions globally. This position will support Amazon's transfer pricing and inter-company accounting teams located across multiple locations.

Key job responsibilities

1. Supporting the implementation of new TP policies, preparation and review of inter-company agreements, monitoring TP outcomes compared to policy.
2. Supporting TP compliance including, contributing to and reviewing TP documentation, benchmarking and other regulatory filings for Amazon entities globally.
3. Provide ad hoc support to stakeholders engaged in planning, controversy and compliance related activities.
4. Drive process improvement initiatives in the transfer pricing operations and compliance processes.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field required.
• Minimum 4 years of Transfer Pricing experience.
• Experience working in a large public accounting firm or multi-national tax department.
• Ability to extract, analyze and review large volumes of data and make appropriate recommendations.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's Degree preferred.
• Chartered Accountant, CFA or CPA or Enrolled.
• Self-starter with ability to prioritize tasks and independently define, implement, and manage creation of new processes.
• Hard working, quicker learner with a positive 'can do' attitude and solid professionalism.
