Senior UI/UX Designer (mid-core mobile), remote Full-time

Our partner is a game studio with a distributed team, registered in the UK in 2018.
Locations: UK, EU (Spain, Poland), UAE, CIS, and other countries, remotely.
Team: 20 people.
Product:
A mobile F2P mid-core game that blends strategy with ARPG raiding. In this asynchronous competitive game, players engage in snackable, action-packed PvE combat while raiding each other's Kingdoms.

The company is financially stable, and the product meets the team's expectations of growing revenue.

Production team:
Product Director, 2 Game Designers, 1 UI/UX Designer, 2D Designer, Art Producer, Art Lead, Technical Artist.

Tools:
Jira, Slack, Huddle, Confluence, Figma, Miro.

What are you working on?
  • Mobile, mid-core ARPG F2P game with Web3 components
  • Web-based product (blockchain) connected to the game
  • At what stage of the project(s)? Release, LiveOps

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

Design UI/UX for core gameplay, core progression, game LiveOps, website, blockchain, and monetization features.
Collaborate with product director and game designers to align on GDD intentions, desired player feel, and early to late-stage production feedback cycles.

Perform internal and external UX research to receive early feedback on the intuitiveness of your solutions.

Design responsibilities include preparing and configuring UI elements in Unity, wireframes, interactive prototypes, collating player experience references (sounds and visuals), documentation, and file organization.

What kind of professional are we looking for?

You have advanced technical knowledge and have been in the problem-solving trenches, with Figma and Unity.

You have a good grasp of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and proven experience and senior expertise in UI design, including the design of visuals, iconography, buttons, and menus.

Meticulous and clear organization of wireframes UX flows, making it easy for anyone to find the right information. Information clarity and organization is highly valued.

You are aligned that complex mid-core games need a UI/UX approach to casual-fi and make even complex interactions delightful.

A Fluent (C1+) level is required.

Strong communication skills: both written and verbal.

The language of communication in the team and documentation is English.
