GBT is looking for a driven and customer-focused candidate to join our Global Infrastructure Support team within the Technology organization. The Service Delivery Manager plays an exciting pivotal role across Travel Management and software and service, accountable for maintaining and developing industry-leading end-to-end service for our colleagues, ownership of the strategically important vendor relationships and be responsible for helping shape the future business requirements.

What You'll Do on a Typical Day

  • Ownership and accountability for developing, managing, and leading a proactive and transformative vendor management strategy based on continual improvement and industry best practice.
  • Maintain strong relationships and work closely with other teams such as Implementation, Service Delivery, Commercial, Product Development, and Support.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the current operational landscape and the needs of Global Infrastructure Support team.
  • Responsibility to drive communication and collaboration between vendors, suppliers, business functions, management teams, and subject matter experts.
  • Representation of End User Compute to deliver value and operational requirements with Vendors and Suppliers.
  • Creating value via the reporting, measurement, and governance of all vendor and supplier relationships.
  • Commercial responsibility, developing a deep understanding of commercial and financial agreements.
  • Management, negotiation, and ongoing day-to-day service accountability of vendors and suppliers alongside P&L management and cost savings.
  • Act as subject matter expert on all vendor and supplier matters with accountability for overall service performance and as an escalation point.
  • Identification and escalation of critical issues.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience of defining, communicating, managing, and driving transformation and change related to vendor and supplier management.
  • 5+ years experience and a proven track record in service management of vendors and suppliers.
  • Proven leadership skills in mentoring and developing at both individual and team level.
  • Ability to work independently alongside demonstrable experience of successful collaboration across functional boundaries with multiple colleagues and teams to solve business issues and improve performance.
  • Relationship-oriented, a good listener with a fluent ability to engage and adapt their approach to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Time management/organizational & change management skills.
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills with the ability to think analytically & conceptually.
  • Understanding and appreciation of working across a globally based eco system and environment.
  • Ability to cross communicate in a global environment.
  • Prioritization of workload.
  • Capacity to work effectively in a virtual environment within a global team.
