Site Financial Controller:

Preston Site Financial Controller Temporary (potential for Temp to Perm) - £55k plus bonus + benefits + flexible working Qualified OR QBE

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller / Site Controller to oversee financial operations at a key manufacturing site. This role involves preparing financial results, leading budgeting and forecasting processes, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage month-end closures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial guidelines.
• Prepare and monitor budgets and forecasts, providing insights to support business targets.
• Oversee the CAPEX process, ensuring effective management of investments and resources.
• Act as a business partner and financial advisor to the site management team, highlighting trends and risks.
• Optimise financial reporting and operations through systems.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Qualified OR Qualified by experience
• Manufacturing & costing experience.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with SAP is preferred but not essential.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
