Sevenoaks based (with travel to Swanley and Tunbridge Wells)

We are working with a leading Social Housing Contractor to recruit a proactive Site Manager to deliver an internal and external SHDF retrofit refurbishment project on Social Housing and decent homes works across the Sevenoaks, Swanley and Tunbridge Wells.

This is a client-facing role where you will be responsible for delivering external refurbishment programs to tenanted properties, through effective management of your site team of Assistant Site Managers and Customer Service Officers.

You must have experience of delivering similar projects including external cladding with a reputable main contractor, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget while adhering to health and safety standards at all times.

We are looking for a hands-on Site Manager with a proven track record of driving sites through effective management and maintaining site presence.

• Controlling the overall direction and maintaining financial control of the contract
• Working in partnership with the client and client representatives to ensure high-quality service delivery
• Cost control and subcontractor management
• Implementing the short, mid, and long-term programmes for the various work streams
• Carrying out onsite inspections, undertaking investigations, preparing reports, and offering solutions for continuous improvement
• Handing over properties on time, working to strict key performance indicators
• Liaising with the client and contract administrators
• Ensuring health and safety on the site
• Managing and controlling the site administration and staff
• Scheduling and procuring materials
• Chairing sub-contractor progress meetings
• Liaising with Design Teams, Client Representatives, and Consultants
• Programming works using MS Project
