The Role at a Glance:

Site Manager / Supervisor (3-6 Month Contract)
Abergavenny
£250 - £400 Per Day Depending on Experience
Full Time - Contract
Hours: 7.30am - 5.00pm, Monday - Friday

Adhering to ITP requirements, Quality Assurance, Team Management, Safety Supervision, Materials Management

The Opportunity:

Due to increased demand for our expertise and new exciting fast growth areas we are hiring talented experts who share our passion for excellence in construction. Joining our team means becoming part of a company that values expertise, innovation, and a collaborative spirit.

This is a contract role lasting approximately three months, with the possibility of an extension to six months.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Working planning
  2. Managing a small team with approximately 20 machine drivers or labourers
  3. Work allocation
  4. Following RAMS
  5. Task briefings
  6. Toolbox talks
  7. Supervising project works
  8. Safety supervision
  9. Checking measurements
  10. Completing quality inspections (ITP)
  11. Checking progress reporting

About you:

  1. Experience of supervising groundworks/civils projects
  2. SMSTS or SSSTS
  3. Familiarity with a range of machine tickets and site plant maintenance
  4. Ability to enforce safety requirements whilst maximising productivity
  5. Able to understand ITP requirements and checking works are being done properly
  6. Experience of reading drawings and filling in checksheets
  7. Effective communication skills both written and spoken
  8. Good computer skills
  9. Good interpersonal skills
