Site Manager (Domestic New Build)

Salary: 45-50k + Car/Allowance + Benefits

Location: Hackney sites

Start: ASAP

A large construction and refurbishment specialist requires a qualified and experienced domestic new build site manager due to rapid recent expansion on London-based projects. The main duties to be carried out by the site manager include general day-to-day management of the construction activities across several new build sites in the Hackney area to maintain profitable timescales whilst upholding H&S and quality control standards.

Other main duties include:

1. Weekly progress reporting to senior management
2. Maintenance of company-driven H&S procedures including PPE, inductions, management of method statements and risk assessments, work permits, scaffold and lifting equipment inspections, in-house audits and inspections, and site housekeeping
3. Liaison with clients, consultants, contract administrators, and head office
4. Management of site facilities

Minimum Requirements:

Suitable candidates must have:

1. Previous site management experience on new build projects
2. Up-to-date knowledge of building and H&S legislation
3. Understanding of local authorities
4. Experience of managing Microsoft Project (programming)
5. Relevant H&S qualifications and SMSTS
